Recently I've been focusing more on my ideal profession: Tattoo Artistry. Those of you who have been tracking my experiments will notice this new set is more photography and MUCH more skin. It's not what I'm used to but it is definetly my new preferred medium. I'd like to thank the models who have have been perfectly willing to get naked for me. Toast to Dana, Naomi, and Nick thus far but my list of volunteers is growing so expect more to come! :)

thanks for the devwatch, Parrotcheeks! I really didn't expect that, but it was a nice surprise. I hope you actually like some bits of my gallery if you faved me, though. Like, not just cause we talk.

your stuff is awesome! i really liked the dinosaur you drew for mel! very creative, i'm terrible at working with colored pencils but i do want a prisma color set for play. so yes, the devwatch is purely because i am a fan

oh! also i'm working on a hand/mechanics tattoo project with many components that you suggested! i have a very eager volunteer

someone who wants to model or is it that they want to show off your art? Either way that's cool!

And that dinosaur. wow. it wasn't so long ago if I count the months, but it feels like years since I was that happy.

But oh prrriissmacolorss! :D My favorite traditional coloring medium is that brand of colored pencils, so I definitely recommend them. Either they're such good quality that you love practicing with them and get better, or their quality lets you use more of your potential ability. Not sure, but I certainly got a lot better with them.
By the way. .an interesting effect with those colored pencils, is to pick the color of choice, then use the white pencil over that. If you like that effect, then cool. But if it's too white, you can use something plastic to scrap off about half of the white pencil's opacity.

thank you so very much for the tip i'm very excited to try it now! perhaps when i have spare money that will become more of an option. I'm saving to go to europe for 5 weeks so that really drains my funds.

have you ever tried scratch drawing? i think you might enjoy that medium people are scared of it for some reason!

the volunteers are a hybrid of both you mentioned. every time i've drawn on them they say "i would get this tattooed" but i think they just like the idea of a giant tattoo rather than the design that is actually on them. plus some people just love to be on camera. no harm no foul in my opinion it makes my ideas a hell of a lot easier to make happen! tomorrow someone is letting me draw on their face in sharpie, now that's a good sport if there ever was one!

I'd like to see what you could do with Prismacolors. And if Prismacolor pens were cheap, that'd be amazing to see what tatt's you could design with those! Maybe Crayola pens would be a better choice if you decided to do any body art in colors XD

Scratch drawing? Like that paper with the black paint coated over colored foil? Or like crayons with a toothpick? I think I'd try that, cause I haven't ever since I was a kid. Entertaining stuff. And you just reminded me to try out my pastels and myriad of art pencils that have been building up in my closet over the years!

But a trip to Europe?! Sounds like a fierce Eurotrip! Except unscripted, unlike the movie. What's the whole trip for, anyways?

Oh, and I mean, read the card and deviation's description if you really want to know about the dino.
